Chartered Secretaries Australia (CSA) is the independent leader in governance and risk management. As the peak professional body in Australia delivering authoritative accredited education and the most practical training and information in the field, CSA is focused on improving organisational performance and transparency.

We are also an influencer and expert commentator on governance thinking and behaviour in Australia.

Our Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance sets the standard for entry into the profession. It is the only applied postgraduate course in governance with higher education accreditation that includes tailored public and private sector subject options, as well as a dedicated subject on Risk and Compliance.

The Graduate Diploma is also the gateway to membership of CSA and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), a global association for governance professionals. Our active membership base of more than 7,000 governance professionals ensures that CSA is in a position to keep you up-to-date with the latest issues and standards in the evolving area of governance.

CSA Associate and Fellow Members are entitled to use the designation Chartered Secretary as well as the internationally recognised postnominals of ACIS or FCIS.

Our Certificates in Governance Practice, Governance and Risk Management and Governance for Not-for-Profits provide vocational governance and risk management training, and a qualification for a wide range of professionals who are responsible for corporate accountability functions and processes within an organisation.

CSA Certificated Members enjoy the professional credibility associated with the nationally recognised postnominal of CSA(Cert).
