About the Australasian Reporting Awards

Awards for excellence in annual reporting commenced in 1951 to encourage high standards in communication of financial and business information by organisations to their stakeholders. The Awards are not a competition but an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their reports against the ARA criteria which are based on world best practice. Special Awards encourage excellence in particular areas of reporting, including: communication, electronic (online) governance, knowledge capital, occupational health and safety, and sustainability reporting. There is also a Special Award for the Best First Time Entry.
