Whether you are enrolled in the Certificate in Governance Practice or the Certificate in Governance and Risk Management or studying single training programs, you can attend face-to-face tutorials or complete your studies online.  Click here to view content of training programs.

For one of these programs to count towards the Certificate course you must pass the online exam and it must be one of the compulsory or elective programs required for that Certificate course.

Your training program has a life span of 12 months. A completed training program older than 12 months will not be counted as an eligible program for Certificate graduation or as an exemption in a new Certificate.

Face-to-face tutorial programs focus on the practical application of the program content and are held at convenient CBD locations throughout Australia.

All tutorial classes are of half-day duration (3.5 hours of presentation), with the exception of Practical on-the-Job Skills for Company Secretaries, which is of one day's duration (9:00am to 5:00pm).

As a tutorial student you will receive:

  • a hard copy of the program materials when you attend the class
  • face-to-face tutorial presentation
  • the opportunity to ask questions of presenters and interact with other students.

Online programs allow you to adjust your study to your career and lifestyle commitments.

As an online student you will receive:

  • access to the latest recorded presentation* of the training program including video and audio of the actual presenter — you can view the presentation multiple times within a specified time period
  • an electronic copy of the program materials for you to download and print if desired.

* for this purpose you will need to have Broadband access to the Internet.
