Enrolment and general information

Eligibility for entry into the Graduate Diploam

To be admitted to the Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance you must hold a university degree or degree-equivalent qualification which meets the entry requirements of CSA.

There are no prerequisites for single subject enrolment.

Recommended enrolment dates

CSA starts dispatching course notes to all enrolled students three weeks before the start of each semester. However, you may prefer to enrol earlier so you can start familiarising yourself with the materials.

Applications and enrolments

To be admitted to the Graduate Diploma and/or enrol in any of the subjects please print out the enrolment form, complete and send with your payment to:

National Education Manager
Chartered Secretaries Australia
GPO Box 1594, Sydney NSW 2001

Alternatively, you can enrol online, or fax your form to (02) 9232 7174.

If you wish to enrol in the Graduate Diploma, please include an academic transcript, issued by your university or equivalent educational body, confirming the award of your degree or degree-equivalent qualification and listing the individual subjects you completed together with your results.

If you are enrolling as a single subject student only and do not wish to be admitted to the Graduate Diploma, you are not required to submit an academic transcript, unless you subsequently change your mind about the Graduate Diploma.

Applicants should also note CSA's academic conduct and student appeal procedures and other policies that appear on the policy page, subject to which all enrolments are accepted.

Subject fees

Enrolment fees are the same for both modes of study:

Non-members $1,800 per subject
CSA affiliates $1,750 per subject
Members $1,550 per subject

Exam supervision fees are included in the enrolment fee. If a candidate wishes to sit at an external venue a fee will apply.

Withdrawals and refunds

Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing to the National Education Manager within ten business days of dispatch of subject materials by CSA. All fees (less a $350 administration charge) will be refunded upon return of materials provided.

Refunds will not be granted after this period, other than in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of CSA. Please refer to the Policy page for the withdrawals and refund policy.
