A significant advantage of the Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance is that our subjects are available in two study modes.
As a student you will have maximum flexibility to arrange your study around your career and lifestyle commitments.
Students are entitled to two consecutive semesters to complete a subject without penalty.
Where a student fails to complete the assessment components for subjects studied in the initial semester, they are able to complete them without penalty in the next consecutive semester, with updated materials supplied. Tutorial students are not permitted to attend tutorial classes in the consecutive semester, unless they pay the full enrolment fee for the subject.
It should be noted that students have a maximum of five years to complete all the required subjects.
Tutorial mode
Tutorial classes focus on the practical application of the subject content. They are held at convenient CBD locations:
-
one evening a week over a 12-week semester in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth
-
for some subjects, on several Saturdays spread over the semester.
Please refer to the tutorial timetable for details.
Not all subjects are available in tutorial mode in all state capitals in every semester.
Distance mode with online support
All subjects are available by distance mode. Enhanced study notes and the online classroom provide necessary learning support in lieu of face-to-face teaching. While you are encouraged to start at normal semester times, this mode allows you the flexibility to start your studies at other times, but you should note the assessment dates still apply.
Please refer to the distance timetable for details.
All subjects studied by distance mode may also be completed over two consecutive semesters. Updated materials are supplied.
Full online learning support, including participation in the online classroom, is available during the second semester.
CSA reserves the right to cancel or vary the provision of classes.
