Good Governance Guides
As a service to members and the wider community, Chartered Secretaries Australia has prepared a series of Good Governance Guides in the area of corporate governance relating to listed companies, non-listed companies and the public sector. In all instances you should be complying with applicable legislation; however, there are often grey areas not covered by legislation, and practices in these areas can vary from minimal to best practice. These Guides comprise practice that, in our view, constitutes good governance in a range of situations. They are a guide only, not a substitute for seeking professional legal advice.
